The US-based fuel card operator Wright Express is understood to have entered the bid battle for the UK-based Retail Decisions.
Earlier in the week Retail Decisions said it received a raised indicative offer and several approaches from a number of other suitors.
The US company FleetCor, which is owned by the private equity firms Bain Capital and Summit Partners, first made an indicative bid for Retail Decisions in May. Its bid was thought to have been around 175p a share, which would value the company at
