EastPay Teams with NACHA, Fed, SWIFT on Principles of International Payments
RICHMOND, Va.--(AllPayNews)--EastPay, in conjunction with NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association, the Retail Payments Office of the Federal Reserve System, and SWIFT, is hosting ‘Principles of International Payments’ in Richmond, Virginia on October 5 – 6. This two-day program covers international payments concepts, processes, risk issues, and program offerings, including SWIFT, FedGlobal ACH, and foreign exchange, delivered by international payment systems experts from the hosting organizations.
The Principles of International Payments program provides an overview of the global payments industry that equips attendees to develop international payments offerings to grow their organizations’ bottom lines. The program provides an understanding of the basics of international payments and developing a business case for offering these services to an organization’s customers. Attendees will:
Gain an awareness of the role international payments can play in expanding business;
Acquire practical tools and resources that enable application of newly-gained knowledge to real-world scenarios and business case development.
Day one addresses the basics of international payments, including payment types, settlement, and foreign exchange. Risk, OFAC compliance, and anti-money laundering issues will also be covered. The second day of the program provides attendees with a variety of tools and resources, as well as the opportunity to interact with and question the instructors. Attendees will also learn about developing a business case for international ACH, and how to implement international ACH services.
The Principles of International Payments program is crafted for forward-thinking payments professionals from financial institutions and businesses, who realize the value of expanding their knowledge base in order to advance their organization’s business into the global payments arena. Up to 9.6 Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) continuing education credits may be earned for attendance.
