eWise Appoints Dean Seifert to Lead NACHA’s Secure Vault Payments Network Rollout with Expanded Payments Sales Team

DENVER--(AllPayNews)--eWise, the exclusive provider for NACHA’s Secure Vault Payments (SVP) Network, today announced the addition of Dean Seifert as Senior Vice President, Network Development – North America. In his role, Seifert is overseeing the strategic market growth of the SVP network and leading the sales team to drive adoption through both financial institutions and merchants.

In support of the full commercialization of SVP, eWise completed a $12.1 million funding round earlier this year. Seifert’s appointment represents the first step in executing the plan to fully develop the SVP network.

Prior to joining eWise, Seifert served as the Group Executive for Sales, Client Relations and Marketing at Total Systems Services, Inc. (TSYS). He was also previously with Western Union Financial Services as the General Manager and Vice President of Western Union Global Business Payments, an online international B2B payment service. His experience also includes shaping the payments industry as the Vice President for Product Development at First Data Corporation.

Seifert is an active inventor with more than 45 issued and applied patents ranging from payment systems, hardware design and engineering, biometrics and authentication systems.

To round out his team, Seifert has recruited seasoned veterans of the financial services industry to join Ken Myles, Senior Vice President, Northeast Region, who has been heavily involved with alternative payments for the past 10 years and has been with eWise since 2007.

• Coleen Merritt, Channel Executive, has 29 years of domestic and international financial services experience. Coleen has been a Certified Treasury Manager (CTM) for more than 20 years.
• Beth Ewing, Vice President, Southeast Region, also has 29 years of experience in the industry with companies such as First Data and Bank of America. Beth has achieved a permanent Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation.
• Judy DeSomma, Vice President, Western Region, has 20 years of industry experience that includes companies such as Bank of America, First Data and Visa.
