FrontStream Payments is pleased to announce plans to upgrade the integrated software offering provided in partnership with Nautical Software Solution, a business solutions provider who has been meeting the needs of the marina industry since 1985. By partnering with FrontStream Payments, Nautical Software Solution offers their clients secure payment acceptance solutions bundled with the Nautical Total Marina Program (TMP) proprietary software package.
Designed specifically for marinas, yacht clubs, dockominiums, city harbors and port districts, Nautical’s TMP software is a comprehensive program that meets the needs of the marina industry. Whether a business owner runs a small privately-owned marina, a large multi-site port, or needs a program to manage a municipal harbor, TMP offers customizable options to meet their needs. TMP comes with billing, accounting, tenant and guest management, a point of sale system, meter usage reporting, reservation management and many other features that help marinas manage their finances, tenants and operations.
“Our two year relationship with Nautical has proven successful and FrontStream has been able to help Nautical’s marina clients increase productivity and efficiency,” said Nina Vellayan, Chief Executive Officer and President of FrontStream Payments, “The opportunity to further expand this relationship and build upon the features and benefits of the joint technology will be a win for all involved and offers Nautical and their clients the assurance of a fully compliant payment solution that has even greater business competence.”
Historically, Nautical’s clients have utilized FrontStream’s proprietary payment gateway and credit card processing services to facilitate the electronic reconciliation of consumer moorage payments, fueling and other dockside services into standing customer accounts. Payments are entered through a virtual terminal environment and then are batched and migrated to the TMP account management interface for automated posting to outbound statements and invoices. The feature saves the marina operator significant time on data entry, reconciliation and electronic payment batching.
To enhance this process, Nautical will be adding an integrated eCommerce feature that will offer marina customers the added ability to self-pay on their account with a credit or debit card over the web. This upgrade also involves the integration of FrontStream’s state-of-the-art tokenization technology that ensures these transactions are PCI compliant and helps to shelter TMP from many of the rigorous and expensive PADSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard) audit requirements.
“Our partnership with Frontstream allows Nautical Software Solution to make our clients more efficient with batch credit card processing, which saves them valuable time, and allows more funds to reach their bottom line,” said Stephen Bullard, Director of Sales at Nautical Software Solution, “The enhanced solution will also offer our customers the chance to accept online payment and the important assurance of total PCI compliance.”
Upon completely integrating with FrontStream’s full gateway capability, marinas using the FrontStream/Nautical TMP payment solution will have a totally compliant and automated online process in place, so that payments can be made more conveniently and Nautical’s clients will see their cash flow improve.
