Nandan Mer to Head Global Consumer Credit at MasterCard Worldwide

PURCHASE, N.Y., Apr 20, 2010 (AllPayNews) -- MasterCard Worldwide today announced that Nandan Mer has been appointed Group Executive, Global Consumer Credit, effective immediately. Most recently, Mer was Chief Executive Officer, United Bank for Africa Investment & International Banking. He previously spent 20 years with Citigroup Consumer Bank, establishing and growing businesses in locations such as India, Israel, Russia, and the United Kingdom. In his new role, Mer will have global responsibility for the company's consumer credit products, with a focus on developing competitive differentiation globally while deploying solutions at the local market level.
