Former Citibank, First Data Exec Managing Delivery of Product
BETHESDA, MD (www.AllPayNews.com) – May 15, 2008 – Bill Morrison a 20-year veteran of the information technology services industry, has joined Transactis, Inc., a leader in forward-thinking electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) technologies, as Chief Information Officer. Joe Proto, CEO, Transactis, made the announcement.
Mr. Morrison leads the company’s project management strategies and is responsible for the delivery of quality products to Transactis’ growing number of clients, such as large billers and banks, including a U.S. top-10 bank.
“Bill’s experience at First Data’s Payments Services Division, will guide Transactis as we continue to deliver quality products. We will draw upon Bill’s expertise at Citibank, where he was responsible for the IT delivery of new products,” added Mr. Proto.

Prior to joining Transactis, Mr. Morrison worked for First Data in their Payments Services Division, responsible for all IT delivery of new products, boarding new clients and supporting operations. Prior to First Data, Mr. Morrison was at Citibank, responsible for the project management office of Citi's credit card division managing enterprise wide technology initiatives. Mr. Morrison started his career with The Associates Corporation in their Dallas headquarters supporting the corporate finance department and continued with the company through the acquisitions by Ford Financial Services and Citigroup.
